Crystal's story continued

After the spiritual experience of seeing my Grandfather after he passed, my next experience was while I was still in my early teens. At the time I was staying with my family in the Australian outback where my father had a job as a Jackeroo on a large sheep and cattle station.

Just before lunch I went outside to look for my brother. As I was looking for him I could see something in the distance. I squinted my eyes to see better and noticed that people appeared to be walking towards me. I immediately sensed that it seemed impossible for anyone to come from that direction, as we were hundreds of miles from the nearest town and I had not heard any plane, helicopter or vehicle.

As impossible as it seemed, the people still continued to get closer to me. By now I could identify that they were Aboriginal people who appeared to be dressed in their traditional cultural dress. There was an old man, several women and a couple of children. As they got closer to me they appeared to be speaking to me but I did not understand their language so I could not understand what they were trying to tell me or ask me. The lady who had come closest to me then appeared to be getting frustrated or angry that I was not responding to her and she then turned to the old man and spoke to him. After she finished speaking to me the old man walked closer to me. Now I was started to get scared. As the old man got close to me he reached out to either touch me or grab me. Being a teenage girl, I freaked out and ran inside.

My sister was inside and when I told her what happened we went back outside to see if we could see the visitors and maybe try to communicate again. We could not see anyone anywhere. As we were in the outback, it is near impossible for someone to walk out of sight in that short of time. My sister thought I was crazy and also assessed me for heat stroke.

Years later I worked with a wonderful Aboriginal lady at a Women and Children's Refuge. When I shared this story with her she got goose bumps and freaked out. My young friend later introduced me to her Aunty who is an Elder of her country. We shared the story with the female Elder who informed me that I was one of the few white people who had been "into the dreaming".

That was not my only experience of entering dreaming or having an exchange will Aboriginal spirits.

Until next time. Take care.

Love & Light to you.
