Getting to know Crystal continued:

It's amazing thinking back in my past as to how many spiritual experiences I have had.

As I was only visiting my family in the Outback for school holidays, I had now returned back home and I was back at school, working and playing sport.

I had reached that age where appearance had become important, not just because of boys, lol, but due to working I felt I had matured. It was at this time I was questioning if I had some type of spiritual assistance with this.

Somehow I had learned to French braid my own hair (not an easy feat for most teenage girls) and I noticed I was complimented a lot on the way that I dressed, even by people my own age. I remember being out with friends and acquaintances wearing an outfit one time that was totally nothing like anyone else was wearing and I became very self-conscious. I went home and couldn't wait to change. The next day I noticed heaps of people were dressing similar to the way I had dressed the day before. One of my friends commented that I was a "trend setter". I laughed because no one had any idea how self-conscious this trend setter had felt the day before. I'm not sure if I used to pray for this help, I just remember receiving this help. Years later I would learn that I have an American Indian Spirit Guide who helped me pick outfits, do my hair, teach me how to put makeup on and be one of the first Spirits I learn to connect with.
